The Train Table is Up!

Tommy and Daddy assembled the train table last night.
Tommy isn't quite understanding that you can play with the train while standing on the side of the table, but he's having fun with it!!

Batts Family Christmas!!

Tommy received a chair just his size from Grandma and Grandpa Batts.
So did his cousin Bridgette who is 3 months younger. I think they both are comfy in their new seats!!
All the Batts cousins- Bridgette, Ellie, Tommy, Audrey, Annaliese, and Madelyn. We couldn't get all 6 of them to look at the same camera, but it's not a bad effort!!
Tommy was a little jealous of cousin Bridgette's new wheels and tried to help her assemble the car.

Plaisier Family Christmas

The weekend started with a possum hunt in the garage- dad and Nathan emerged the victors!!
Tommy got a train set and table from his Grandma and Papa and hasn't stopped talking about it and playing with it since.
I think that he's happy with the train!
Trains must be a boy thing...
How many engineers does it take to set up a train set?
Up, up, up, DOWN!!
More presents
We had lobster for dinner on Christmas Eve- Tommy wasn't sure what to make of that creature!
With his enormous truck that holds over 50 cars from Aunt Kristina and Uncle Dan!
Reading one of the books that Auntie Sar gave him.
Opening more gifts...
Tommy got his very own "snowy." He'd been eyeing the ones at Grandma and Papa's house all weekend.
A quick stop at GiGi and Papa JuJu's house to say Merry Christmas! They gave Tommy his very own "neigh!"

It was a White Christmas in Michigan!!

Tommy is all bundled up and ready to head out in the snow!!
Daddy and Papa took Tommy sledding out on the driveway.
He obviously LOVED it!
At one point he was laughing so hard he could hardly breathe.
More, more!!
When Papa fell in the pile of snow Tommy was very concerned- he kept saying "oh, no!"
But soon he jumped in too!
I'm not one bit cold mom!
Making snowballs!
What a fun afternoon- look at those rosy red cheeks!

Grams and Gramps 60th Wedding Anniversary

While we were in Kalamazoo, we were able to attend Grandma and Grandpa's party for their 60th wedding anniversary.
Tommy was on hand to help open the presents!
Tommy with his "Gigi"The three of us!

Driving

It's a long drive (12 hours), but Tommy was a trooper. He did a great job in the car!

Our Family Christmas

Because we were leaving for Michigan, our little family celebrated our Christmas on Thursday evening, December 20.
Tommy got the hang of opening gifts, but is determined that every last scrap of paper be thrown away before tearing off any more pieces. We had to move the garbage right next to him any time he opened presents!
Sitting with some of his presents by the tree.
Playing with his new car garage.

What a fun night!

Cold Weather Reaches the Carolinas

With temperatures down in the lower 60's my little southern boy had to bundle up to play outside with his friends today! He is definitely not a big fan of the hat and keeps complaining that he is "Ot" (Tommy's word for hot).

New Blocks are Fun!!

Tommy's not sure what's in the bag, but it must be good!
What's in here?
I love playing with my blocks!!

Halloween

Ready to go trick-or-treating!
More pictures mom?
Have you ever seen a puppy suck his thumb?
Tommy with his buddy from church, Brock. Brock was a giraffe and Tommy was a puppy (minus the head part). Neither one looks too sure about what is going on.
At the church Reformation Day celebration they had pony rides- here is Tommy getting his helmet on.
And here he is riding the "neigh" named Popcorn.
Playing with the glow sticks that Grandma P gave him.
What did you get in your bucket Alistair?
Have you ever seen a cuter puppy?
We went to the Halloween "Spooktacular" at North Meck Park. Tommy had a blast!
