A New Puppy!

We picked our new puppy, Cooper, up at the airport this afternoon. Tommy quickly told him who was boss!

Best buds! They chased each other around for hours this afternoon in the backyard. Tommy taught Cooper how to kick a ball.

Tommy's hair is slightly wet because he was trying to drink just like Cooper out of the dog bowl.

Tommy wanted Cooper to participate in storytime tonight and softly petted him the entire time. He was disappointed that Cooper wasn't allowed in the crib with him. I think they are going to be good buddies!

Easter at Grandma and Papa's House

Due to the snow, Grandma Plaisier had an "alternative" egg hunt this year. Instead of hiding the 1,000 eggs outside, it was a game of luck involving drawing different slips of paper. Tommy's first egg had a candy basket pick.

Another egg hunt

Kalamazoo had 14" of snow Easter weekend. Grandma Batts had an egg hunt in the snow!

Tommy's getting pretty good at this now!

No better day than garbage day!

Oh the joys of having a little boy!! I don't think that any little girls demand that their mother run outside at 7:30 am in her pajamas just to watch the garbage truck!!
He gets so excited he can hardly stand it. He waves and waves until the driver finally waves back. And- since we live on a street with two cul-de-saks we can watch the truck back up and beep for at least 10 minutes :)

Yesterday our playgroup had an Easter egg hunt- they had so much fun!!
