Birthday Fun!!

Tommy turned 2 on February 23! It was such a fun day- we had a party with all of his friends at Monkey Joe's, hung out with all of his grandparents who made the long drive down to be here for his birthday, had dinner at Red Rocks, and opened presents all day long! When I woke him up in the morning the first words out of his mouth were, "I two!" Where does the time go?
Hanging out with Grandpa Batts at Monkey Joe's.
G-G and Ju-Ju Papa gave him a bike! He was so excited and he LOVES the horn!
The face says it all!
Tommy must have gone up and down this slide at least 50 times. He made everyone take a turn with him- mommy, daddy, Papa, and even Grandma Batts and Debbie!!
Papa is so funny!!
At one point Grandma P. was so worn out from going down the slide she had to hide in the back of the building- Tommy was determined that only Debbie could go with him :)
Yea!
Waiting in the birthday throne to open his presents!
Turning 2 is so exciting!
Tommy helping Papa put together one of his new toys.
The Little Tykes cozy coupe was such a hit we could hardly get him out of it long enough to assemble it!
Leftover cake that night with Grandma B, Grandpa B, Grandma P, Papa P, Mommy, and Daddy- even more fun now that he has the hang of it! (and when you are the only little one they let you light the candles and blow them out twice!)
At one point he was so exhausted that he had to open his presents while laying down and sucking his thumb!
Someone loves presents!
Nothing more exciting than opening a bag to find a new "choo-choo!"
The Fridge Farm from Mommy and Daddy is lots of fun!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

For a Valentine's surprise, Tommy decorated a heart shaped cake for Daddy.
Tommy loved pouring the "shake, shake candy" on the cake!
The finished result may not be pretty, but I think Nathan will like it! Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!

The Slide

It's nice enough here to play outside if you wear warm clothes! Here is Tommy on the slide.

Reading

For everyone who is worried that all Tommy does is jump off of couches and tackle his toys- here is a video of a much more common activity at our house. Tommy loves to sit in his room with his music on and "read." He does this almost every morning for at least a half hour. He must have some of his mother in him after all :)

Playing with the boys!

Aiden, Tucker, Jake, and Tommy at the park. You have no idea how difficult it was to get a picture of all four of them on the dinosaur!
