Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a wonderful Valentine's day!  The kids are at such a fun age for all of the fun and celebration of the day.  Both boys wanted to make heart shaped crayons for their friends and we had fun surprising our relatives with donuts in the morning.  After school we headed to Nonnie and Papa's for Valentine treats.  It was a fun day spent with those we love!

Basketball Buddies

Every winter the high school offers the preschoolers a chance to be "basketball buddies."  It never sounded good to Tommy, but when I read the flyer to Henry he said, "That sounds awesome!  Sign me up!"  When the night finally came Henry instructed me to dress nicer for his big night and to maybe put "some of that pretty stuff on your lips."  :)

The kids were all given a t shirt, a pom pom, and a snack and then paired up with a cheerleader.  At half time of the girls game they were able to go out onto the court and their names were read over the loudspeaker.  Henry loved every moment.  It was adorable!  We all enjoyed a night watching the basketball games- maybe if Caroline ever learns to sit still we will be able to go more often!
