Back to School Party 2

The night before school started we had Nathan's family over for dinner and I decided to make it another "back to school" party :)  We had fun swimming and we had cupcakes for Caroline and Grandpa's birthdays.  It was a great way to end the summer!

Happy Birthday Dear Caroline!

Caroline turned two on August 24!  It was a pretty quiet day at home celebrating with our family.  She is having her parties with the extended families with Henry in a couple of weeks.  We had fun celebrating her!

 

The birthday girl greeted me that morning in her birthday suit!

Papa and Nonnie dropped off flowers and a small present for her.  She was thrilled with the flowers!

Seven and a Half

On Friday, August 23, Tommy turned 7 1/2 years old.  He was extremely excited about reaching this milestone!  We celebrated with lunch at Treat Street, a pool party at Nonnie and Papa's, and half of a cake.  It was a great day to turn 7 1/2 :)

 

Back to School Party

On Wednesday before school started we had some friends over for a back to school pool party.  It was a hot, sunny day and a great chance to catch up with friends and get those last few drops of summer!  It was a little crazy so I don't have pictures of the kiddos, but here are some pictures of the party details!

 

Summer Memories

We've had a busy and fun summer full of big adventures, but also lots of every-day smiles.  Here are a few more memories from summer 2013.

 

We met some of our cousins at Treat Street for ice cream and got caught in a downpour!  We had a great time splashing in the rain!

 

Caroline's hair finally grew long enough and she finally sat still enough for some French braids!  Too fun to have a little girl!

Henry's new favorite thing to do is walk Cooper.  Bless that dog's heart- he puts up with it and slowly makes his way to the end of the driveway and back over and over and over with Henry.

All my babies in the water.  Henry learned how to swim without a life jacket a few weeks ago and is very proud of himself.  I am so happy that he knows how to swim now!

Tommy and I went on a date night to get all of his school supplies, some back to school clothes, and ate dinner at Panera.  It was a fun night with my almost second grader!
