Busy, busy, busy

We've been busy enjoying this unseasonably warm weather this week.  I think we've been outside more than we've been in the past few days which is a nice.  The boys are both at good ages to play outside and Caroline loves to watch them!  Here are some recent pictures of the kids:

Caroline fell asleep while using her jumperoo the other day.  She didn't even fuss or cry- I just went to check on her and she was sound asleep.

Henry found a mud puddle in the backyard and had more fun than I could believe splashing and playing in the water.  What is it with boys and dirt? :)

My dad has been helping us paint our living room.  Henry loves to help him.

Caroline loves her activity gym!

Tommy's Six Year Old Stats

Tommy also went to the doctor this past week for his six year old check up.  He is 55 lbs (88%) and 4' 0.25" (92%).  His percentiles have remained fairly steady since he was a baby so there isn't any big surprise there!

Six Months Old!!

Caroline Jean- 6 Months Old

I can't believe that we are half-way to Caroline's first birthday!  Time is flying!  We are having so much fun with our little girl- she has personality plus.  She is always smiling and wants to be part of the action.  Lately she has started cooing and talking more- it's fun to hear those happy baby noises.  We love our little girl so much!

Caroline weighed 15lbs, 11oz (36%) and was 26" long (50%).  At six months Tommy weighed 20lbs, 8oz and Henry was 16lbs, 8oz.  For length, Tommy was 27 1/2" and Henry was 25 1/2".  Tommy's head was 17 1/2" and Henry's was 17 1/4".

Just for comparison- I was 16 lbs, 0 oz and 27" long so she is a little smaller than I was.

What is Caroline up to at 6 months?

- Caroline sleeps from 5pm- 7:30am.  She wakes around 6am to eat quick before going back down for a little longer.  Once or twice a week she wakes up to eat around 2am.
- She naps from 9am-11:15am and then again from 12:45pm-3:15pm consistantly.
-She eats 6 times a day in addition to a serving of cereal in the morning and a container of baby food at night.
- She has eaten rice cereal, oatmeal, mixed grain cereal, barley, beans, and peas.  Oatmeal and beans are the favorites so far.
- She is in size 2 diapers and 6-12 month clothing.
-She discovered her toes about a week ago and loves to play with them.  She also enjoys her activity gym and is just starting to like the jumperoo and excersaucer.
- Her neck control has gotten much better and she easily rolls from side to side, but can't roll from back to front or front to back yet.
- She is cooing and making baby noises more and more often.

Jungle Party Details

Final wrap up of Tommy's birthday!  Here are some pictures of a few details from his animal parties.  He was cute this year because he had definite opinions about everything and was a huge part of all of the decisions.  He told me last year before his fifth birthday that when he turned six he wanted an animal party and he stuck with that all year- I was surprised!  We had a WILD time with all of the details and the birthday boy was thrilled so it was all worth it!

I wish I had taken a better picture of this- he colored a picture of some animals and then wrote "Tommy is 6  I hop you like my prdy." (Tommy is 6.  I hope you like my party.) and put the note by the front door :)

Tommy's Birthday- Part Four!!

On the Saturday after his birthday Tommy had his final party with the Plaisier side.  He loved every minute of this party- being the center of attention and opening his gifts!  He was truly spoiled at all of his parties last week and is so blessed to have friends and family willing to celebrate with him!

He is really into the Peanuts lately and had spotted this book at the book store a few weeks ago.  It will be nice when he can read it by himself- comics are hard to read as bedtime stories!

More gifts

Still more...

Gigi and Juju got him a Tigger from Disney when they were in Florida.  Tommy has been sleeping with it ever since he opened it- we even had to set a plate for Tigger at dinner the other night!

Henry opened this from Nonnie and Papa to keep him busy while Tommy opened his gifts- I don't know what he's doing in this picture, but he loved the gift!

Tommy also opened some magic tricks and a cape- he performed a few tricks for us at the end of the night and Henry was his biggest fan!
