Ten Months Old!!

Caroline Jean- 10 months old

What a fun little girl!!  She is such a giggle box- we love her little personality! She is extremely laid back and seems content to tag along to all of her brother's stuff.  Her favorite things are to ride in the stroller and swim in the pool- she is content to do either activity for a long time.  She is still a definite mama's girl, but also adores her daddy and brothers.  She loves to babble and tells long, loud "stories."  We may be in trouble if she is another talker!  We are head over heels for this precious little one!

Caroline's unofficial weight is about 19lbs.  Henry's at this age was 22.5lbs.

What is Caroline up to at 10 months?

- She goes to bed around 6-6:30pm at night and sleeps until about 6:30-7am in the morning. 

- Naps are from about 8:30-10:30am and then again from 1:30-4pm.

- She eats stage 2 baby foods- usually about 5-6 containers a day.  She has three meals of baby food each day and about 24-30oz of formula.  She still nurses in the morning. 

- She has started eating little puffs and yogurt melts- she's getting better at feeding herself- the hard part is keeping her brothers from doing it for her!

- She isn't too picky- the only food she doesn't like is blueberries.

- She is in size 3 diapers and just getting into her 12 month clothes.

- She rolls, sits, and can push herself up to sitting.

- She waves, claps, and does so big!

- No teeth yet!

Grandma P's Birthday!

Sunday we celebrated Grandma Plaisier's 87th birthday with dinner at my parent's house.  It was nice to see her again and to be able to celebrate with her.  Here are some pictures of the afternoon!

Grandma's 85th Birthday!!

Yesterday my beautiful Grandma celebrated her 85th birthday!  She has been such a blessing to me in my life and we've enjoyed celebrating the milestone birthday with her!

Saturday afternoon we had a surprise luncheon for her with all of her nieces, daughters, and grandaughters.  It was so much fun!

She was SO surprised!

Father's Day

Sunday we were able to spend time celebrating all of the fathers in our lives!  After church we had dinner with my dad and grandpa, then Sunday evening we were able to swim and spend time with Nathan's dad.  We are so blessed to have such strong, Christian men in our lives and we were happy to have a day just to celebrate them! 

My kids are also blessed to have a wonderful dad and they loved celebrating him all day long!  They had purchased some small gifts for him and Tommy had made a card during school to give him.  It was a great day!

Out of 35 pictures snapped after church this was the best one.  Oh well, maybe next year :)

Swimming!

We've been having tons of fun in our pool this summer!  The boys are little fish and spend as much time as they can in the water.  We have to drag them out at night to tuck them into bed.  Caroline doesn't get in the water as often, but she loves it when she does!  We have been enjoying our little waterbugs!

Last day of Kindergarten

I cannot believe that the school year is done already!!  Last Thursday was Tommy's last day of kindergarten.  He had a wonderful year- he made several new friends, learned SO much, and loved his teacher.  We celebrated his last day of school with lunch at Treat Street!  Here are some pictures of the last morning of school!

Truly amazing if you look back at the first day of kindergarten.  He's grown so much!

Caroline's 9 month stats

Caroline went to the doctor today for her 9 month visit.  Here are her stats:

At 9 months, Caroline weighs 18lbs, 9oz (40%) and is 28" long (59%). Her head is in the 80th percentile. At 9 months, Henry weighed 21lbs, 0oz (50%) and Tommy weighed 24lbs, 4oz (95%). Henry was 28" long (50%) and Tommy was 29 1/2" (75%). Both boys' heads were 18" (75%).
