Eight Months Old!!

Caroline Jean- 8 Months Old

Sweet Caroline is already 8 months old!  Time is going much too fast.  She is such a fun, sweet baby and we all adore her so very much.  She is quick to smile and giggle- the boys love to gently tickle her and hear her laugh.  She has started to become a little wary of strangers, but after checking with mommy to make sure they are okay they usually get a big grin.  We get a kick out of how nosey she is- she will whip her head around or back to get a better view of what is happening.  We are so blessed to have her in our lives and love her so much!

Caroline's unofficial weight at 8 months is 18lbs which is the same as Henry's unofficial weight at 8  months.

What is Caroline up to at 8 months?

- She sleeps from 6:30pm- 7am every night.  We finally broke through all of the sporadic night wakings! 

- She naps from 9am- 11am and then again from 1pm-4pm every day.

- She eats 3 meals of baby food (2 containers or a bowl of cereal and a container of food) and nurses/takes a bottle about 5 times a day.

- She has tried all of the stage 1 baby foods.  She doesn't seem to be too fussy about her foods- apples are probably her favorite, but she'll eat anything.

- She is in size 3 diapers and size 6-12 or 9 month clothing.

- No teeth yet!

- She rolls both ways, but not very willingly- she doesn't like to be on her tummy.  She is getting stronger at sitting, but isn't quite there yet. 

- She waves and babbles "da-da-da"

- She loves her excersaucer and the jumperoo.  She also loves to go for walks with her brothers!

Easter

We spent Easter with the Plaisiers enjoying a wonderful dinner, company of family, and of course, the enormous egg hunt!  Everyone had a wonderful time- Henry only wanted "monies" and he got plenty of them and Tommy was the overall winner which made his entire week :)

Caroline was exhausted, but determined not to miss the party!  She fell apart by the end of the afternoon.

Easter Morning

We woke up early on Easter morning to discover that the bunny had come to visit during the night!!  That crazy rabbit hid eggs for the boys to find and baskets for all three kids.  Tommy was SO excited and Henry just followed along and squealed whenever Tommy told him that something was cool :) 

After all of that fun we headed to church and enjoyed a wonderful service celebrating our risen Savior.

Tommy said that since I took approximately 450 pictures of the three of them that he got to take some pictures of Nathan and me.  Not too bad!  :)

Easter Eggs

The boys had fun dying Easter eggs this year!  Tommy has always taken this endeavor very seriously, but this was Henry's first time to participate.  They both loved it and were extremely proud of their finished creations!

Spring Break- Part 2

We left Orlando on Friday and drove to West Palm Beach to spend the next week with the rest of my family.  It was a wonderful week of relaxing, beach, pool, sand, and sun!  Lots of pictures to follow!



One of Tommy's favorite activities in West Palm is to feed the fish at the marina.  This was the first year that Henry got into it too.  I insisted that someone hold onto him at ALL times- I was very worried about him falling off the dock!

Caroline's first dip in the pool!  She wasn't sure at first, but once she got used to it she thought it was really fun!

Henry was fearless at the beach and loved playing at the ocean this year.

I celebrated my birthday at Cheesecake Factory.  It's always fun to have a Spring Break birthday and celebrate with all of my family!

Tommy didn't feel well this night, but Henry had fun throwing "monies" in the fountains.
