The Zoo

While we were in Kalamazoo Papa and Grandma Plaisier took Tommy to the zoo. It was a big hit! He didn't quite understand that the peacock didn't want to be petted.
He didn't dare touch the goats, he would just pretend to and then grab Papa's hand to make him pet them.
The pigs were a definite favorite.

Since Auntie Sar had taught Tommy how to snort like a pig a few days before the zoo trip, Tommy thought it was hilarious when the pig actually did snort!
This animal was so interesting that Tommy needed a closer look.
We even got to ride a choo-choo train!

Waving to Grandma and Papa from the merry-go-round!

The giraffes were really cool too- their tongues were so long!

Tommy fed the giraffe some crackers (with Papa's help)!

Eating Cookies at the Pool!

One afternoon Grandma bought Tommy a special cookie shaped like a clown. We were so excited to give it to him.
He decided that it wasn't that interesting and gave it back- we aren't sure that he figured out it was edible!

Annaliese's Birthday Party!

While we were in Kalamazoo we were able to attend Tommy's cousin's birthday party. Annaliese turned 3!! Here are Tommy and cousin Bridgette at Bounceland- neither one knew quite what to make of the place!
Madelyn was a good helper! Not sure many people could pull that amount of body weight up and over the side!

The best part of the birthday celebration- the cake!

What a Difference a Year Makes!

Fun in the HOT July Sun!

Tommy loves to help Nathan water the flowers every evening.
Tommy doesn't quite understand that you need water- but he does make a great water noise with his mouth while pointing the nozzle at all of the flowers!

Nothing like a good puddle to attract a little boy's attention!

After a long, hot day outdoors a bath is definitely in order!

Running around in his robe after his bath.

One of Tommy's favorite morning activities- watching a little Baby Einstein while relaxing on his pillows.
After a morning run, this is usually how Tommy looks. Must be exhausting to ride along!

Aunt Kristina's Visit

Aunt Kristina came to visit us in July- it was so fun to have another "buddy" for a few days! We did lots of shopping and playing around the house.
Tommy loved playing with his VERY patient Aunt K-K!

His favorite thing for her to do was to push him across the room in his dump truck. He could play that game with her for hours! I'm not sure Kristina was enjoying the game as much as Tommy was!
