Eleven Months Old!!

Caroline Jean- 11 months old!

I cannot believe that Caroline is eleven months old already!!  She is such a happy baby and we love every minute with her.  She enjoys watching her big brothers and splashing in the pool.  She is always on the move- she is one wiggly baby.  She has a great smile and a fun laugh which she is quick to share.  She is still a mama's girl, but is slowly letting other people into her little world.  Pictures are getting harder and harder to take- she is determined not to stay in one place for very long.  We love our sweet Caroline!

At eleven months Caroline's unofficial weight is 22.5lbs.  Henry's unofficial weight at this age was 24lbs.

What is Caroline up to at 11 months?

- She sleeps from 6pm-6:45am every night.

- She drinks about 24oz of formula a day and stopped nursing a few days before turning 11 months old.  She eats a baby yogurt for breakfast, finger foods for lunch, and one or two containers of baby food for dinner.  She is extremely hard to feed- she just doesn't have the interest in it that the boys did.

- She eats all baby foods and small finger foods- blueberries, raspberries, cheese, crackers, cereal bars, eggs, bread, etc.

- She naps from 9-11am and then again from 1:30-3:30pm

- She is in size 3 diapers and 12-18 month clothing.

- She army crawls and is trying very hard to crawl on all fours.  She can pull up to her knees, but not to standing yet.

- She waves and does "so big."  She also loves peek-a-boo

- She finally got her first tooth the day after turning 11 months!!  The second one looks like it is right behind.

Fun on the Fourth!!

We had a fabulous few days celebrating "America's Birthday" (that's what Tommy kept calling it!)  We started off last Sunday by heading to our friends' cottage on Gun Lake.  There was lots of fishing, swimming, food, and fireworks!  We all had a wonderful time!

On the afternoon of the fourth we had Nathan's sister and her family over for some swimming!  It was a HOT day!

The evening of the fourth we headed over to my parents' house.  Here are the Plaisier cousins celebrating together!  I showed Nathan this picture and he said- "everyone looks happy and comfortable except for Andrew" :)

The boys put on their annual fireworks show by the pool- Tommy was really into it this year!  The favorites were the helicopter and parachute fireworks.  Henry was best buddies with Gigi during the show.

That night we made our annual trek down to Whites Lake with my dad and sister to watch more fireworks.  It was a wonderful summer day!!

Basketball Camp

A couple of weeks ago Tommy attended basketball camp at a local church.  He absolutely loved it and learned so much!  He was on the Green Raccoon team and came home each day with stories of the games and who scored how many points and play by plays of each drill.  It was fun to listen to his excitement!  The last day the parents were invited to watch them play a couple of scrimage games- here are some pictures!
