Tommy on the Potty

We aren't potty training yet, but are trying to get Tommy used to the potty. Part of the evening routine is that we sit on it before our bath. He loves to sit there and read!
Of course, he feels that you have to be completely undressed. We have moderate success, but we are a long way from being diaper free!

Haircuts!

Tommy and Daddy went to get haircuts last night. Here's Tommy just patiently waiting his turn.
Tommy (and teddy) sit on Daddy's lap to get their trim. Tommy is getting pretty good at the whole process and doesn't wiggle too much.

Ray's Splash Planet

Tommy went to Ray's Splash Planet's Teddy Bear Picnic class last week. All of the kids got a teddy bear and read stories, played games, colored, and decorated cookies. Tommy's favorite was decorating the cookies with the "shake, shake" candies.
After the class we got to go swimming! Tommy loves it there and it's something different and fun for us to do.

Snow Storm 2008!!

Here is a picture of the big snow we got last night! Quite a big deal for this part of the country, but definitely no lake effect snow here :)

Fun at the Park

Last week it was in the 70's for a few days so we were able to get out to the playground and play with our friends!!
Not sure what Tommy's doing here, but he was busy!

Tommy's favorite is the "big kid" slide. He thinks he's too big for the toddler slide and has to attempt this one over and over and over.

Linebacker Practice

One of Tommy's new favorite activities is to create "obstacle courses" in the family room and then practice his jumping. Daddy and Tommy find it very funny- Mommy does not!!
