In anticipation of my mom's "big" birthday this November, we headed to Chicago for a weekend celebration in early August. The boys left with my parents early Saturday morning and went to the Field Museum. The rest of us drove down a little later and met at US Cellular Field to watch the White Sox take on the Twins. The boys loved the game- it was fun to watch their excitement. Tommy was determined to stay until the very end to watch the Sox win.
Daddy and Caroline
Caroline would cry whenever we put Andrew in the same seat as her. When we asked her why- this was her response:
Poor Andrew :)
Caroline wasn't much of a baseball fan. She fell asleep for about 45 minutes during the game.

We spent the night out in Oakbrook and then woke up and made our way to the Brookfield Zoo. It was a great zoo and the kids all had a great time!

The kids all got to pick out new stuffed animals- here they all are!

All snuggled up with her new unicorn on the ride home. We had a wonderful time celebrating Nonnie! Happy early birthday!
