This summer, Nathan's work had a family day at Binder Park zoo. We had a picnic lunch together and then were free to explore the zoo on our own. The kids loved it and it was a great way to spend an afternoon! Plus, one of the funniest stories of the summer happened there :)
In the morning, Tommy told Henry to bring his money so that he could feed the animals. I saw Henry put a dollar in his pocket, but then forgot all about it. While looking at the swans, Henry threw his dollar into the water at the bird. When questioned, Henry replied, "Tommy told me to bring money to feed the animals!" We got a good laugh out of that one :)
