This past week we headed to West Palm Beach, Florida (which Tommy kept calling Palm Beach West) with my parents. We had a wonderful time and were all a little sad to come home. The boys loved every moment of the sun, water, and sand. They also loved every bit of the attention that their grandparents spoiled them with. I have a feeling that this week may be a rough adjustment for them!
There was a new splash pad added this year and Henry LOVED it! He spent most of his time here- running through the water and squealing.
Of course, doing so much running at the splash park makes you pretty tired at the beach! He loved to play in the sand, but also took quite a few naps laying by the ocean :)
Tommy didn't care for the splash park, so he would "supervise" and drink his chocolate milk in the morning while Henry played.
Tommy loved the beach this year- not the water, but definitely the sand. He and Papa dug, built castles, and made "Tommy Lakes." He also took long walks for shells with Nonnie Debbie!
Henry was so tired one morning that he fell asleep standing up!
There was a new mini-golf course that was perfect for Tommy. Of course, he was an expert by the end of the week :)
The golfers
Henry was fearless with the water!
Tommy is really into Playmobile toys so we took an afternoon off to visit the Playmobile world. Tommy loved seeing all of the different sets and playing with all of the toys!
Tommy loves to go down to the marina and feed the fish, but on Thursday nights they have a sort of art fair set up and every year the man with the parrots is there. Tommy loved it this year and Henry was a little skeptical! The big red parrot was named Henry which Tommy found hilarious!
Tommy loved it so much that he wanted to go back. He wasn't quite brave enough to do it by himself, but loved to do it with Papa.
Henry loved digging in the sand with his buddy, "Bapa," just as much as Tommy does. Henry was big buddies all week with "Bapa" and I'm sure that my parents will miss being woken up in the morning by a little voice screaming "Bapa" and knocking on their bedroom door :)
