Three Years Old

Henry Christopher- 3 years old

I cannot believe that Henry is 3!  He is such a lovable little guy and such an important part of our family.  He has a great sense of humor and constantly makes us laugh.  It's been really neat to watch him carve out his little niche in our house and watch his relationship with Tommy and Caroline grow.  He adores his older brother and will follow him anywhere and play anything Tommy wants to play.  He also knows just which buttons to push to get a reaction and frequently does it :)  With Caroline he is very protective.  He is always looking out for her and taking care of her.  He doesn't like anyone else to touch her.  We laugh because this summer we were at the farmer's market and I was carrying Caroline in the baby bjorn.  A woman came up and was telling me how cute she was and squeezed Caroline's toes.  Henry immediately walked up, grabbed Caroline's other foot, and glared at the woman until she walked away.  He takes great care of his "baby."  He loves to snuggle into our bed at night and has turned into quite the cuddly little boy.  He insists on getting a hug and kiss from Nathan and Tommy before they go to work and school in the morning.  He likes to give us all hugs and tell us we are the "best ever."  He continues to struggle with speech and goes to therapy each week to help with that.  He loves going to school and nursery and can be extremely independent.  Several times a day I am told, "my do it!"  We love him so very much!  Happy birthday Henry!

At three years, Henry is 37.5" (42%) and 38lbs (93%).  At the same age Tommy was 39.5" (90%) and 35lbs (80%).

Just for fun I was 37.25" and 31.5lbs.  Always fun to see the different numbers!
