On Saturday, September 6 we celebrated with the Batts side. They have lots of August/September birthdays so it was a party for Annaliese (10), Caroline (3), Grandpa, Henry (5), and Ellie (11). It was a gorgeous night- the kids even ended up in the pool for an end of summer swim! It was a fun fish party!

Then the real fishing began! This is what Henry dreamt of for months :) We had to do some serious persuasion to allow girl cousins to participate- in his mind this was a boy only event.

I love this picture of Caroline- the party was done, we were cleaning up, and I told her it was time to head upstairs. She grabbed all of her gifts, stuck a sucker in her mouth, and headed up. I think she had a good birthday party!
